The DIOCESAN MUSEUM is the most active museum of the city. It is inside the Episcopal Seminary. It was reopened and entrusted to the management of the FeArT Cooperative since 2010 and it features six exhibition sections: archeology, lapidary, sculpture, tapestries, paintings, silver. Here, some of the findings of the first archaeological campaigns of Pulo are preserved. The statuary is divided into two branches: the one concerning the ancient statues carried during the processions of the Holy Week and the Neapolitan wooden statues. Last, but not least, are the sections that host the paintings of Giaquinto and his followers, as well as the Donation of Vito Zaza’s contemporary works. The Library of the Episcopal Seminary is a precious jewel.
